  2. SPORTS & FITNESS III USER'S GUIDE

  4. All documentation assumes you have a basic understanding of how to 
  5. use your computer and the programs you have purchased for it.
  6.  
  7. BASIC REQUIREMENTS
  8. -------------------
  9. Sports & Fitness III images require application(s) that are 
  10. compatible with EPS and TIF file formats.  All EPS images are 
  11. saved using Adobe Illustrator.  All TIF images are saved with 
  12. Adobe Photoshop. Any other hardware or software requirements will 
  13. be based primarily on the applications you use and the type of 
  14. final output you plan to produce.

  16. The illustrations in this collection are each provided in 2 file 
  17. formats. They are differentiated by file name as follows:

  19. EPS FILES:
  20. ò Illustrator 3.0, naming convention 001SPF03.EPS
  21.  
  22. TIF FILES:
  23. ò Photoshop 2.5, naming convention 001SPF03.TIF
  24.  
  25. USING THE ARTWORK ON THIS CD
  26. -----------------------------
  27. PAGE LAYOUT PROGRAMS:
  28. Open your page layout program. Create a new document and PLACE the 
  29. EPS or TIF files as you would any other images. The following page 
  30. layout programs are compatible with  EPS and TIF file formats:
  31. ò Adobe PageMaker
  32. ò QuarkXPress
  33.  
  34. DRAW PROGRAMS:
  35. To edit the EPS files, open or import (Corel Draw!) them with your 
  36. draw program.
  37. EPS files: 
  38. ò Adobe Illustrator
  39. ò Macromedia Freehand        
  40. ò Corel DRAW!
  41.  
  42. PAINT PROGRAMS:
  43. The TIF files can be manipulated like any other bitmap images in 
  44. the following programs:
  45. ò Adobe Photoshop
  46. ò Corel Photo-Paint
  47.  
  48. If your application was not listed above, please refer to your 
  49. manual for compatibility.
